The most popular costumes, in my opinion, are those that relate to a common theme. Depending on how you plan to use the costume, there are literally thousands of options to consider. From hiring someone to dress up in a popular kids costume for a childs party, to using a popular college mascot to officiate your college game day party, the choices are literally endless.
Ideas for Popular Costumes:
Cookie monster is a very popular mascot choice that I have found works well with kids and adults alike. It wasnt too long ago that I threw a birthday party for my fiance. After much thought, I settled on a kids theme for the party. WIth a huge trampoline erected in the back yard, drinks served in bottles, balloons and a petting zoo, I went all out. But the thing that everyone remembers most about that party is the person I hired to dress up in Cookie Monster costume. Wandering around the party, Cookie Monster served up drinks, cookies, and lots of laughs.
Purchasing a college mascot for game day parties is another excellent idea that I think is a ton of fun. As graduates of University of Florida, my fiance and I always throw a huge party on the day of the Florida/Florida State Game. Having purchased a popular Gator costume several years ago, we hire someone to wear it during this party. Our guests absolutely love it and it makes the overall atmosphere more festive.
Popular costumes are everywhere. The trick is knowing how to use them!
