As someone who has purchased literally hundreds of costumes over the past ten years, I would like to take this opportunity to offer some advice on purchasing specialized costumes. It is my hope that after reading the following information, you will know just where to look in order to find one.

Having Costumes Custom Designed:
If you are in the market for a quality costume you are likely to spend at least $100, depending on the size and style of the guise. In my opinion, one hundred dollars is a lot to spend on something off the rack. That is why I usually spring for the extra money and have my costumes custom designed. One of the main reasons that I like buying custom made costumes is because I know exactly what I am getting. I know that it is going to fit and I know that I am purchasing a quality product.

When looking for someone to design your costume, it helps to be thorough. Dont be afraid to ask questions about guarentees and/or to inquire for references. Once you have chosen a designer, be as specific as possible with your requests. If you want a college mascot wearing a football jersey with your name on it, then say so! The more communicative you are with your requests, the happier you will be with the final product.
